Founded by Brothers Chris and Ryan Ray in 2005 Team Ray Technologies, LLC is an engineering firm that provides premier automation design and integration services, data transformation services, and custom software applications to the automotive, government, and manufacturing sectors. Chris and Ryan both have degrees in Chemical Engineering and have lived up to the billing of Chemical Engineers being ‘Universal Engineers’ because of their broad scientific and technical mastery. Both Chris and Ryan have worked in multiple manufacturing facilities prior to working for their own company. The real-world experience gained from these previous experiences separates Chris and Ryan from many other technical service providers. Prior to venturing on their own, they were heavily involved in many technical areas including 3D mechanical design, electrical design, PLC programming, HMI/SCADA programming, robot programming, camera/advanced sensor integration, injection molding, process engineering, software programming, and advanced project management.

The two brothers began focusing more on electrical controls design and integration along with database driven software development between 2003 and 2005 and determined these areas could be the cornerstone of a successful technology based business. The business grew as customers realized the value of having Team Ray connected to their mission critical processes. In 2011 Rockware Corp was spun off from Team Ray Technologies as a sister company to focus on the sale of software and software related products and services. Since the beginning of Rockware Corp both companies have worked on independent projects along with working on projects together. Today Team Ray Technologies primarily specializes in engineering and integration for Tier 1 and Tier 2 Automotive suppliers. Team Ray Technologies is the primary integrator for all Rockware® Magic™ and Rockbox™ related products.
